Wim Hof Method

An Introduction

A two-hour introduction to the Wim Hof Method offers a powerful, accessible taste of what this practice can unlock.

Participants can expect an engaging opening talk that explains the science behind the method—how breathwork, cold exposure and mindset work together to influence the nervous system, immune function and overall resilience.

This is followed by a guided breathwork session where they’ll experience the effects of controlled conscious breathing and breath retention, often leading to deep calm, heightened awareness and a sense of inner strength.

The session concludes with a supervised ice bath, approached safely and progressively, giving participants the chance to put their new tools into action.

Most people finish feeling energised, grounded, and surprised by what they’re capable of when they breathe, focus and trust the process.

Jamie Thomson

Based in Helston, Cornwall, Jaimie is a certified Wim Hof Method instructor and the founder of The Halo Project (CIC) dedicated to wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth. Jaimie in his former life was a semi pro footballer and has always been interested in how to tap into our innate potential as humans.
Through a myriad of different techniques and fitness regimes Jaimie discovered the awesome and accessible power of the Wim Hof Method.

“My passion lies in contrast therapy and the transformative power of cold exposure, breathwork, and mindset training.

Through the Wim Hof Method, he support individuals from all walks of life to reconnect with their inner strength and overcome physical, mental, and emotional barriers. Whether people are facing stress, anxiety, burnout, lack of confidence, or major life transitions, he creates safe, supportive spaces where challenge becomes a gateway to growth.

“My work is rooted in the belief that stepping into discomfort—especially through contrast therapy—builds clarity, confidence, and resilience that carry far beyond the ice. By combining science-backed techniques with compassionate guidance, I help people realise they are capable of far more than they ever believed.”

Operating as a CIC allows Jaimie to make this accessible within the local community, supporting wellbeing initiatives and empowering people in Helston and across Cornwall to take ownership of their health, mindset, and potential.
