Yin Yoga

meditative relaxing Yin practice

Join Justine for a meditative relaxing Yin practice, with long holds and stillness to allow you to go inside
and explore your authentic self.

Yin yoga helps improve flexibility by gently stretching deep connective tissues like ligaments and fascia.

It promotes relaxation and stress reduction by encouraging slow movement and mindful breathing.

Practicing yin yoga can also enhance joint health and balance the nervous system.
The practice will end with Yoga Nidra where you can rest in a liminal space of stillness, awareness and clarity.

What to Bring:

Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and a cushion

Justine Smith

My name Justine and am delighted to offer a Yinfusion session at this first Cornish Sauna Festival.

I call my practice Yinfusion because it’s fusion of practices I love, practice and study.

Yin is an introspective practice that involves long holds which direct sensations and good stress into deep connective tissue by releasing muscular effort, relaxing and remaining still. We rest and move slowly between postures to stay present in the body and explore the sensations and feelings that arise.

It might look as if nothing much is happening but the magic happens inside.
he fusion part of the practice involves meditation, breathwork and some more yang movement with breath because there is yang in yin and vice versa, also motion is lotion and as we are 90% water, we mustn’t let things stagnate.

The practice will bring your body into a rested and open state, ready to marinate more in the sauna.

Would love you to join me on Friday Morning with an optional Sauna afterwards.
